Shield cut has the consistent height of roughly 5/8", but you can choose the cut length of 3", 4", 5", or 5½". Sold by the 6-pack, dozen, 50-pack, 100 count, or 1,000 count (call for quote).
Shield cut in 5" is the single most popular feather length and cut in traditional archery. Shield cut has slightly more surface area compared to parabolic cut, which will make arrows fletched with shield feathers a touch more stable in flight than those fletched with parabolic cut feathers. Parabolic cut is a little bit quieter in flight as wind has less surface area to grab on too.

What Wing Feather to Shoot?
It is an old belief that a Right handed (RH) shooter must shoot Left wing (LW) so the arrow spins away from the riser on release. This is not the case. An arrow only starts spinning once it is several feet in front of the bow, so feel free to shoot Left or Right wing.
