17" ILF Trad Riser
This eye-catching riser is made from a uniquely attractive blend of Cocobolo action wood and black phenolic with striking maple and rosewood colored accents. Integrated ATA sight bushings, stabilizer bushing, lateral limb adjustable ILF dove tails, and adjustable tiller bolts blend performance and flexibility for your ILF set-up. Shelf is radiused and cut 1/8" past center for optimum arrow clearance. Features a medium grip.
Includes nylon storage case and hex key adjustment tools. Weighs approximately 1 lbs., 8 oz. Available in Right Hand only.
Nika Progress Carbon ILF Recurve Limbs
Made from a 55% blend of carbon fiber and 45% fiberglass, Progress limbs feature a progressive curve for extremely smooth shooting, as well as high torsion stiffness for better accuracy and longer distances. You'll notice less vibration than other ILF recurve limbs, giving you increased accuracy and more comfort.
This unique blend of carbon and fiberglass means Progress recurve limbs are water and weather resistant. The limbs will not expand or contract during hot or cold weather. You'll be able to shoot rain or shine, winter or summer. Just like the mailman, these limbs deliver!
Nika Progress carbon recurve limbs are available in Medium (60" on a 17" riser) in pull weight of 50# @ 28" draw (measured on a 17" riser). Each limb comes with a protective sleeve for transport and storage.
High Performance Flemish Twist Bow String
High quality Flemish twist bow string made from D97 string material with a nylon center serving. Measures 56" long.
Typically with ILF bows the weight will adjust up or down 2# for every 2" of riser length. For example, if a pair of limbs is 40# on a 17" riser, they will be 42# on a 15" riser or 38# on a 19" riser. This is standard for all ILF risers and limbs.
Choose from a left or right handed bow (choose based on what hand you Draw the bow string with), and bow weight at a 28" draw length. Remember that with a traditional bow the weight will change depending upon what your draw length is. Bow weight will change approximately ±2½ pounds for every inch from a bows rated draw length. So a bow rated 45# @ 28" bow is roughly a 42½# @ 27" or 47½# @ 29". Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.
Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
