Early American settlers used to exchange steel points with Native Americans for other goods. Thus, the name "Trade Points."
These trade point blanks allow you to create your own trade points. They are made from .048 non-hardened spring steel and measure approximately 1" x 3", weighing 167 grains.
These blanks do not have a bevel. You will need a grinder or good sturdy file to give them a proper bevel. The points are also tarnished and may require polishing.
These points are great for reenactors, primitive arrow builders, and history buffs.
Sold by the 6-pack.
Tip: Slot your wooden arrow shaft perpendicular to the grain for maximum strength. Recommend using real or Artificial Sinew for hafting the point to the slotted arrow.
