Muzzleloading is a great way to connect with the past and learn an appreciation for the skills and ingenuity of our forefathers. This Muzzleloader Pistol Holster and Yoke is perfect for carrying your black powder pistol, while preserving an authentic frontier look and style.
The holster is designed to carry a flintlock or percussion muzzleloader pistol cross-draw style on a 2-1/2" wide belt, or using the included yoke shoulder rig. The holster is made from 8 ounce latigo leather, with a design that fully covers the hammer to prevent accidental discharge.
The holster comes with a yoke shoulder rig. To install the holster, remove the Chicago screw from the yoke, then slide the yoke through the belt loop of the holster. Simply retighten the screw, and you're ready to go!
Installing the holster on the yoke shoulder rig allows you to carry your pistol easily under your arm and over your coat. This not only makes you more comfortable, but also protects the pistol from the elements. You also have the option of wearing the yoke and holster under your coat, but we strongly recommend you check your local concealed carry laws first.
The yoke is constructed of a jute/cotton blend, and measures 1-1/4" wide. The double dee slider allows you to adjust the holster height to your preference.
