The blade has a unique feature known as a "Spanish notch." This notch was traditionally used as a tool to strip sinew and repair rope. It could also be used as a guide for blade sharpening. In addition it serves as a stress relief point during use.
The 6-1/2" quality scabbard features attractive patterns embossed into the leather, with leather lace stitching and a hand stitched belt loop to attach to your belt, pack, or possibles bag.
