A 3Rivers Archery exclusive!
For 90 years Bear Archery has been traditional archery's most enduring brand. To celebrate their long history of serving the archery community, Bear is now offering these outstanding green glass takedown limbs.
Fred Bear's ingenious takedown recurve bow design has been a staple in the traditional archery world for over 50 years. These green 90th anniversary limbs are designed to work with Bear A and B risers.
Bear has crafted these beautiful limbs with a green fiberglass back and belly over a maple core. Features a sturdy phenolic butt, and reinforced green tips to handle modern high performance bow strings.
These 3Rivers Archery exclusive limbs feature "3RA" in each set's serial number.
Available in Bear #1 limbs only. Limb weight options of 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55# @ 28" draw (rated on a B riser).
See chart for determining bow AMO length with #1 limbs. Subtract 4" for actual string length needed. Recommended brace height: A handle 7¾" - 8¾", B handle 7" - 8".
Bear Takedown options | ||
Limbs | A Riser | B Riser |
#1 | 56" AMO (+2# to pull weight) | 60" AMO |
Draw weight is marked at the nearest 5# increment to actual weight, (2#'s under and 3#'s over). This is an industry wide standard.
Bow stringer not included. A bow stringer is recommended for stringing any recurve bow or longbow. Stringing a bow without a bow stringer, or stringing it backwards will void a bow's warranty. Click here to see our Bow Stringers. It is recommended to unstring your bow if you do not plan to be shooting more than week. Store your bow on its side, or hanging vertically from a peg. Never rest the bow on the lower tip for extended periods of time. Never dry fire the bow (shooting without an arrow).
