When building self bows, laminated bows, or finishing one of our many bow kits, a tillering stick is essential. Our tillering stick is constructed from clear pine, featuring a top notch of approximately 1½" x 3" and 28 side notches cut 1/2" deep for added strength, spaced 1" apart. Measuring 35" from tip to tip, the tillering board has actual dimensions of approximately 3/4" x 3-3/8" (1 x 4).
This board is ready to use straight out of the box, but if you prefer a sanded, stained, and finished look, you can easily customize it at home.
